After:What your guests will see:We want to make sure that your high traffic times are effectively supported within Waitwhile. Previously, when a lot of customers were trying to sign up to your Waitlist at the same time, some received an error and were unable to sign up. We now have a mechanism live that supports retrying adding someone to the Waitlist up to 5 times in the event that the location is too busy.
We're excited for this update, which will allow your business to further customize! While previously you could pre-fill certain fields such as the name and customer ID for your customers on your Waitlist/Booking pages, now you can pre-fill all your custom fields as well!
You can also pre-select certain services or resources for your customers.
Say goodbye to status and status tag confusion! Now each has its own color. You can find this improvement displayed on the Waitlist and Booking pages.
We have exciting updates to our rescheduling user experience!
When rescheduling an appointment, all prior data should now follow along to the new appointment. Previously, all entered information had disappeared once the booking was rescheduled.
Now, after a booking has been rescheduled (by a customer or staff), the status tags will be removed until they are triggered again. Currently the status tags remain from the initial booking.
That should clear up any rescheduling confusion for your customers and staff 🤗
Give your customers the time they need! Once a customer selects a time and begins filling out their information, we'll hold this slot for them for 10 minutes. When 9 minutes have passed, if they haven't submitted the form yet, we'll nudge them asking if they want to continue with the booking. If not, we'll release the booking slot for others.
This is currently only available for certain customers. Want to enable it? Let us know!You can now print your visits from the Customers tab! It'll include all data fields that each customer has filled out. If you want to customize what the print-out looks like, you can simply do that with an HTML template.
Reach out to support and we'll help you set it up!You can now add a maximum number of bookings per day for each of your Services and Resources! This is easily configurable when you edit them, in the field "Max bookings per day."
If you've enabled bookings, you can configure a maximum daily limit for each Resource under Team -> Resources and the maximum daily limit for each Service under Location -> Services.
Important to note:
• If a specific day is fully booked, a guest can still book the Resource for another day.
• The maximum daily limit is based on bookings, not on how many people got served.
• The maximum daily limit is applied per location.
--> Set your limitsWherever your customers are, and whatever language they speak, Waitwhile can accommodate. We now support Italian as a language both within the product for your team, and for your customers on your Waitlist/Booking pages.
You can update your language in two places:
• For your Italian speaking customers, go to Settings ->Styling -> Localization and choose Italian from the drop-down.
• For your team, go to Account Settings -> Your profile -> Language and choose Italian from the drop-down.
