Customize your Location card content

Does your business have multiple locations with different addresses and information? We have just the improvement for you.

Up to now you've only been able to include your location name on your "location cards" that are displayed on the All Locations Signup page, without the option to include additional text and information. Moving forward you'll have the ability to include any content you want. For example, you could include the address of your business, an image, or even a link! Whatever you need to make your guests' registration process the best it can be.

-> Start customizing!

Hide OR show QR code on Status Page

Don't want to display your QR code on your Status Page? No problem! We've implemented a new setting to give you the option of what you show your guests when they join the Waitlist or make a Booking.

While previously the only way hide a QR code was with CSS, it's now as easy as a toggle under Public -> Join Waitlist or Online booking -> Customer status page.

-> To show or not to show your QR code? That is the question and your decision! Choose now.

✨ Your public-facing Waitwhile links have improved

We wanted to give you a heads up that as of today your public-facing Waitwhile links will be shorter and simpler.

For example, instead of: app.waitwhile.com/welcome/{shortName}, your URL will be: waitwhile.com/welcome/{shortName} moving forward. In other words, we’ve dropped the “app.” in the URL. Bonus: You should also notice some performance improvements from this change.

Not to worry, your old links will still work and simply redirect the visitor over to the new one! That said, we recommend that you update your active marketing materials with your new shorter URLs when you have a chance.

-> Chat with support at support@waitwhile.com if you encounter any issues or have any questions

More control for how to sync Bookings into Waitlist ✨

You can now control if synced bookings should show up first or last in the Waitlist.

By default, the Bookings will sync to the BACK of the waitlist based on the time frames you have selected in this area when it’s enabled, so be sure to decide if you want your Bookings to go to the top of the line - or the bottom.

-> Start toggling under Settings -> Location -> Bookings -> Sync with waitlist

Saved Replies added for multi-guest messaging 💬

Love our Saved Replies feature? It's getting an upgrade.

You can now use your Saved Replies for multi-guest messaging when selecting multiple guests in the waitlist. This functionality is great when sending mass messages to many customers at once. For example...

  • Need to send a mass message should you experience a sudden closure due to weather? Now you can.
  • What if you experience a change in service or resource availability for certain customers? Now you can alert those who will be impacted.
  • Unexpected delays that may impact wait time for everyone on a list happen! Now you can easily communicate that to all.
  • Are you serving customers in batches and want to send a batch of people a specific message before they're actually served? No problem.
