Improved translation and language management

Setting up and managing multiple languages and translations is important for great customer experiences. With this update, we’ve reworked language management across localization and message templates to make translation setup clearer, more reliable, and easier to maintain.

You can read more about how translating both business terms and messages.

Customize text-to-join experiences with ease

Previously, advanced SMS registration options were only accessible through backend configurations. With this update, you can now manage and customize how guests join your waitlist via text message directly in your Waitwhile settings — no CSM assistance needed.

Create new visits from customer profiles

Previously, adding a returning customer required re-entering their details. Now, staff can create new visits — both waitlist entries and bookings — directly from a customer’s profile. This restores a popular Waitwhile 2.0 capability and makes registrations faster.

Note: The US server release has been delayed until Monday, next week to ensure a smooth rollout and avoid any disruption to your operations.

Other fixes and improvements

  • Updates to overview panels for Wait time and Serving: This enhancement improves the UI of the Serving and Waitlist overview panels by adding open/close waitlist controls, replacing "Open (forced)" wording with a lock icon in visit board columns, and enabling access to these overviews directly from the Account Overview.

  • Added security to prevent accidental destructive actions: This security enhancement requires users to type 'REMOVE' or 'DELETE' when performing destructive actions like batch deleting or unassigning items in settings. This helps protect users from accidental deletions that are difficult to reverse.

  • Ability to edit visits before moving them to a new location: This feature allows staff to edit visit details when moving a visit to a new location where it would otherwise be invalid, by providing an "Edit on new location" button that enables necessary modifications before completing the move.

  • Added functionality in Copy settings: With this update, we’re adding the ability to selectively copy specific resources, services, and message templates (including languages) between locations, providing greater control and flexibility when applying settings across multiple locations.

  • Removed support for older browser versions: Our next release removes support for older browsers as part of the Angular 20 upgrade. We will be supporting Chrome/Edge 111+, Firefox 112+, Safari 16.4+, and iOS 16.4+. Read more about our system requirements.

  • Add location status to location switcher on mobile: This bug fix restores location statistics (wait time, number of people being served, etc.) to the location switcher on mobile devices, mimicking the desktop behavior. We’re doing this to ensure staff have consistent access to critical information across all platforms.

  • Sort locations by wait time and status on Locations page: Admins can now sort locations on the Locations page in Account overview by wait time and status, making it easier to identify high-demand locations and optimize staff allocation accordingly.

  • Improved session filtering and navigation:
The Sessions view now shows only sessions for the selected service, includes clearer CTAs when spots are available, and supports smoother browsing with date-based navigation and pagination.
