Bulk-edit user data & notifications

With this improvement, admins can update more user properties (we've added profile image, phone, language, region and notification preferences) from the new two-tab Edit User page. Apply changes to many users at once to save hours and keep data consistent.

Try it in Account overview › Users or check out our article about the Users page for more information on how to manage users in Waitwhile.

Customize languages on public account pages

You can now control both the languages and translations used on your account-level public pages — including All locations, All waitlists, and error pages. Set customer-facing languages and update any public-facing text in the new Localization section under Account settings > Public pages.

You'll find more information about this and translations in Waitwhile in How to customize your languages and business terms.

Staff can now use buttons instead of dropdowns

Dropdowns can be slow to navigate — especially on touchscreens. This update gives users the option to show services, resources, and custom fields (of the type “Selection”) as buttons instead, reducing clicks and speeding up staff workflows.

You can adjust these display settings in Location settings > Services / Resources / Input fields by setting Staff selection component to Button component.

We’re replacing the old ‘Edit hours’ modal

Following the introduction of Schedules, different parts of the platform have been using inconsistent modals to update hours for locations, resources, and services. This update replaces all legacy “Edit hours” modals with the same new interface.

To understand better how to update business hours and availability for services and resources, read How to set your location hours in Waitwhile.

Other updates and fixes

  • Improvements to capacity management: We're renaming the capacity management visit tracker the "Quick serve widget", and consolidating all capacity management functionality in one place — Location settings > Arrival > Capacity management.

  • Resource availability picker bug fix: Restored visibility of resource availability picker in user menu. Staff can view availability status across locations but can only modify status where their resource is assigned.
