Custom Away statuses
Admins can now define and manage preset away statuses like “Lunch break” or “10-min break” that staff can select with a single tap. You can also set default durations for these presets to make status updates quicker and more consistent.
Once configured through Settings > Resources > Resource options, colleagues can instantly see when a team member will be back. Return times appear in the resource modal, serving modal, and visit-creation dropdown. Each user can also view their own current status in their user menu.
You can read more about how to set up the statuses on How to set up away statuses.
Resource Modal Enhancements
You can now link users to resources, see how long they’ve been away or when they’ll be back, and update custom statuses — all from the resource modal.
Set custom away messages across locations
You can now set default away status presets in one location and easily copy them to all others using the Copy Settings feature for a consistent, account-wide setup through Account settings > Copy settings and then “resourceIsAwayReasonPresets”.
The features are available only for Business and Enterprise plans.
Other fixes and improvements
Improved availability calculation for multi-category resources:
When no required resource category is set, availability is now based on the total number of spots across all categories — not just the one with the fewest spots. This ensures slots remain available as long as there are open resources in any category.
