Introducing Sessions — Now in Beta

We are now adding Sessions as a new service type to let you create and manage services that happen at specific dates or on a recurring schedule, useful for e.g. multi‑attendee classes or event workshops.

Admins can define each session’s time, recurrence, capacity, and assigned resources; the system blocks those resources during the session and treats each session as its own visit for check‑in, attendance, and analytics.

Customers can pick sessions during registration and get a single confirmation with access to all their session status pages, while staff see sessions on the calendar with booked vs remaining spots and can view all visits tied to a session.

Access from Location settings > Services > Create service and read more about what it is and how you can use it in our Guide to Sessions.

Other fixes and improvements

  • Printing visits requires new permission: The Print button will now only be visible to users with the “View sensitive data” permission enabled. This is already included in Owner, Admins, and Editor roles, but if you use custom roles, please check your settings. Update permissions for your roles from Account settings > Roles & Permissions.
